The Spring/Summer 2015 runways have brought the focus back to the woman’s body with lingerie-inspired designs. Work fashion’s latest craze into everyday looks by balancing out overexposure with cover-ups and other layering pieces.
Ease your way into the trend by taking a cue from Sarah Hyland, Britney Spears, and Dita Von Teese. The goal is to be chic and demure with a hint of sex appeal. Von Teese subtly exposed her brassiere under a velvet sleeved dress. Hyland teased her black lace bra through a romper with a deep V-neckline. You can also add a layer of sophistication like Spears in a chic white suit paired with a lace-panel camisole.

Turn up the heat in sultry see-through pieces like Lea Michele, Dakota Fanning, and Emily Blunt. Michele and Fanning kept little to the imagination in form-fitting peek-a-boo dresses with crochet and lace detail. Blunt elevated the look with a tulle dress, which discreetly displayed her bralet through rose embroidered detail. Keep in mind that color scheme is very important. Black is bold and sexy and bright colors are more playful.

Take the trend to the extreme like Rihanna and Madonna with exposed garter belts and wearing dress slips as actual outerwear. Pull the look off by teaming a dress slip with an oversized sweater, coat or leather jacket. Edge it up with chain or spike accessories and ankle boots.
