Miko was recruited by IMG from his Instagram account, where the New Yorker advocates for healthy body image alongside sexy posed pics and adorable shots with his wife and dog. He was also the face of Target’s “big & tall” collection in 2015.
“What a day. What a life,” Miko captioned a sophisticated tuxedo pic on Thursday. “Thank you world for welcoming me into your lives. #bodypositivity #img #brawn#effyourbeautystandards.”

Miko opened up to WWD on Wednesday about signing his ground-breaking contract.
“When you are a man my size, it’s never even considered a possibility,” he gushed. “So it’s kind of really cool that it has become a possibility and times have changed.”
The male model also has nothing but praise for fellow curvy cover star Ashley Graham, who is also signed with IMG and made history on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue this year.
“Ashley is a superstar,” Miko said. “She changed the conversation of what beauty is. If I can do only a fraction of what she does, I will be so honored.”
