Tina Knowles Lawson showed up to support her daughter and wore a seriously sexy, cleavage-baring jumpsuit. "I'm 62 and trying to hang in there," the designer tells ET's Kevin Frazier of her style. "I'm repping for the old ladies."
Beyonce's family had lots to celebrate at the event. In addition to Queen Bey surprising fans with an unannounced performance, she also took home four awards, including Video of the Year and Best Female R&B/Pop Artist. "I couldn't be more proud of her," Tina gushes. "Not only of her as an entertainer, because she keeps evolving and growing, but as a person. ...I just see so much growth."
As for Destiny's Child, Tina is still very close with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, despite the group disbanding in 2006. "Well, it's a joy for me when I get to hang out with all of them," she says. "It's the best. They've been my support system as well as me being their support system. So, it's amazing."
The mother-daughter duo slayed at the BET Awards just a few days after Tina opened up about designing some of Beyonce's more memorable outfits. During an interview with the Today show that aired on Friday, she admitted that there was one dress that the 34-year-old star "maybe wasn't so excited about" having her mom design.
