Spring break is just around the corner but before you race off to the airport our ETonline host, Katie Krause, wants to help you pack the trendiest vacation looks!
Whether you’ve booked a tropical getaway in Miami, Mexico or another location where you can soak up some sun, she’s found the perfect outfits to keep you looking chic in the heat -- without breaking the bank.
Beach Day Look #1
When picking out your perfect beach outfit, the goal is to find comfortable yet cute layers to add over your swimsuit. Katie found a tropical, light-weight romper at Kohl’s that she paired with casual flip flops, and a show-stopping fuchsia bikini underneath that added a pop of color. She completed the look with some over-sized shades.
Beach Day Look #2
For a slightly trendier option with a tomboy twist, she chose denim cut-off overalls with a light pink and black striped tank underneath and accessorized with multi-colored beaded bracelets. To complete the playful look, she added a bohemian, leather and canvas backpack that can hold all her beach essentials.

Shopping Day
If you’re planning on shopping around town, it’s best to keep things effortless yet stylish. Katie’s colorful maxi dress is vibrant and girly and the lace detailing at the bottom adds a touch of sophistication. The bright shades of pink, orange and purple are appropriate for the tropical destination. A mixed metal necklace will give the overall outfit a dash of edginess and the classic structured bag is the perfect size to shop till you drop!
Sightseeing
When sightseeing on vacation, Katie went with an outfit that screams relaxation but is still adorable. The deconstructed denim shorts balance the pastel flower top and the gladiator-inspired sandals are easy on the feet as you trek around from sight to sight. But, the romantic flower crown headband is a standout accessory that brings the whole look together!
Fitness
For the fitness buffs out there, Katie’s neon workout attire is both fun and sporty. The black athletic shorts are versatile with white and grey accents and make the teal t-shirt with fluorescent sweater pop. Katie gave the look a flirty finish by pairing it with funky tennis shoes with pink leopard detailing.
Night on the Town
For those nights out on the town, Katie’s pleated midi skirt and lacey black cropped tank fit the bill. The black wedges add height but won’t be hard to dance in -- and the pastel statement necklace adds a dressier vibe.
