French Montana is still recovering after his hospitalization.

The 35-year-old rapper was hospitalized last month and, despite having been released after nearly two weeks, a source tells ET that Montana still has a long way to go in his recovery.

While he is out of the hospital, he is not out of the woods, and doctors have told him he needs to be on bed rest for 30 days, the source says. This means that, for the next month, he will not be traveling, working, performing or even exercising, the source notes.

According to the source, doctors feel he was exhausted with his symptoms including dehydration, an irregular heart rate and severe stomach pains.

In an Instagram post earlier this week, Montana shared a photo of himself doing push-ups while in the hospital.

"CANT KEEP ME DOWN!!" Montana captioned the pic, before promoting his new album, which was released on Friday and features artists including Chris Brown, Post Malone, Cardi B, Drake, and A$AP Rocky.

"The music is keepin my spirit alive ????," he added. "THANK YOU to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey"

Last week, Montana took to Instagram to reveal that he was "finally" out of the ICU. Last month, a source told ET that the performer was recently in four countries in six days, and that he was suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, an irregular heart rate and severe stomach pains.

"Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time !!! #Montana," Montana captioned a photo of himself in the hospital.

TMZ previously reported that Montana was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering from cardiac issues and dealing with painful nausea.

At the time, a rep for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department told ET that deputies initially responded to a robbery at a home in Calabasas, California, that was occupied by Montana, but that there was no evidence of a robbery found. After they arrived, however, deputies noticed that Montana was having medical issues and called the paramedics. The rapper was then transported to a local hospital.

Sources told TMZ that Montana was suffering from an elevated heart rate and stomach pains and that it could have been a result of eating contaminated food.

Montana received plenty of support while he was in the hospital, including from Megan Thee Stallion, who shared a video from her visit with him. See more on Montana in the video below.
