Kirstie has had one of the most public battles with weight. Kirstie's role as Rebecca Howe on Cheers made her a household name. After the show went off the air in 1993, Kirstie's career started to fizzle out and her weight began to balloon up. In 2005, she turned her weight struggle into a success story with the Showtime seriesFat Actress. Eventually she was up to 219 pounds and became the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig. On that program, she lot 75 pounds. She even put on a bikini on Oprah to showcase her new body. But later she would gain the weight back, as documented on her 2010 reality showKirstie Alley's Big Life. Recently she lost a significant amount of weight while onDancing with the Stars.

LeAnn Rimes

Then-13-year-old LeAnn Rimes captivated the world with her smash single Blue. In 2009, while shooting the TV movie Northern Lights, the married LeAnn began an affair with the also married Eddie Cibrian. Despite divorcing their spouses, LeAnn and Eddie came under fire for the cheating scandal. During this time LeAnn's weight began to drop. Leading up to her wedding with Cibrian, her weight continued to drop and many called her dangerously skinny, causing people to speculate she was suffering from an eating disorder. She has tweeted several bikini photos of herself, claiming she is healthy. Throughout all the controversy, LeAnn claims she is healthy and does not have an eating disorder.

Oprah

Oprah's weight struggles have been documented for decades. Starting in 1986, Oprah has put weight issues front and center on her show. At one point Oprah weighed 237 pounds and in 1992 she had had enough. The talk show host dedicated herself to reshaping her body through diet and exercise and at one point had lost 67 pounds. But her struggle with weight was far from over. In 2005, Oprah weighed 160 pounds but four years later she was over 200 pounds again. She says she know her weight battle is still ongoing.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt sent tabloids into a tizzy for a bikini shot taken of the star on a Hawaiian beach in 2007. Since then she has gone up and down in her weight and recently the actress been showing off her trim physique in skintight Herve Leger dresses.

Cheryl Burke

Two-time Dancing with the Stars champ Cheryl Burke is no stranger to being in the public eye for her weight. In 2008, the petite dancer gained a mere five pounds but tabloids went wild with her weight gain. She has admitted that she took diet pills and tried to starve herself to lose the weight but eventually turned to working out and eating healthy to keep the weight off.

Carnie Wilson

Carnie Wilson has fought a weight battle for years. She recently put her weight at 200 pounds. In 1999, the then-300-pound singer and TV personality had gastric bypass surgery. She says she maintained a size 6 for some time but could not shed the pounds after two pregnancies. She has admitted publicly that she loved food but did not love exercise and then sought help from VH1's Celebrity Fit Club as well as Dr. Oz.

Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne's weight has been the subject of ridicule since her time on MTV's The Osbourne's. Kelly weighed 160 pounds while on the show. However two years ago, the little rebel began shedding the pounds when she competed on Dancing with the Stars and had a dramatic transformation. Once a size 14, Kelly now weights 110 pounds and is a size 2.

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson has been on the weight loss journey for almost a decade. In 2003, she dropped 60 pounds in order to get to a size 10 to appear on American Idol. For the next few years she yo-yo'd some more and eventually put on 35 pounds when she had her baby in 2009. Last year, the Oscar winner became a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers and has worked her way down to a size 6. Jennifer has been seen rockin' her red-carpet figure all around town!

Valerie Bertinelli

Yo-yo dieting for most of her life, Valerie Bertinelli  had a dramtic, 40-pound weight loss when she became a Jenny Craig spokeswoman. Having weight issues her whole life, Valerie says she ballooned after splitting from rocker hubby Eddie Van Halen. By 2007, she had hit her heaviest of 172 pounds. She ended up dropping the pounds and getting bikini ready for a series of Jenny Craig commercials, showing the world her new slim body. The Hot in Cleveland star now credits Jenny Craig, exercise, and her self-confidence for keeping the weight off.

Jessica Simpson

Even before announcing her pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has come under fire for her filled-out curves. In 2005, Jessica's daisy dukes and rockin' bod made jaws drop with her turn in the Dukes of Hazzard. However in 2009, Jessica was the talk of the town for her infamous high-wasted mom jeans.  In the past few years Jessica has embraced her new curves. She is now expecting with former NFL player Eric Johnson, eating for two and seemingly loving her curves.
