Steven Tyler, 64, rocked his way onto the judging panel of American Idol -- replacing Simon Cowell -- and he's certainly being compensated well for his services. The 'Aerosmith' frontman is being paid a reported $18 million per season. No doubt Steven - whose daughter is actress and model Liv Tyler - will be hoping for yet another season and so too will the aging rockers, whose fan base has expanded significantly since he has reinvented himself. Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson is the eldest statesman on FOX’s award-winning American Idol. Despite his veteran status, the Grammy Award-winning producer is getting less than his new co-judges, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. Still, $5 million-a-season is not to be scoffed at we think! Jennifer Lopez

She's got a net worth of $250 million so it's no wonder Jennifer Lopez, 42, can command a whopping $12 million-a-season to judge Idol. Despite her huge wage and success at the judges’ table, the diva known as Jenny From The Block recently hinted she may not return for a third season. She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that while she's enjoyed her run as an Idol kingmaker, "I don't know if I can go for a third year". To see more photos of the actress and singer click here.

Howard Stern

INF
He is one of the most outspoken shock jocks this country has ever seen and his pay packet for NBC’s America's Got Talent is just as outrageous – as draw dropping as his insults! Howard Stern, 58, is earning nearly $15 million for his work as the replacement to CNN host Piers Morgan, 47. Unfortunately, despite Howard’s best efforts, he has so far failed to ignite ratings. See here for more photos of the American radio DJ.

Demi Lovato

Pacific Coast News
Putting her troubled past behind her, 18-year-old Demi Lovato was a surprise announcement as the fourth panel member on Fox’s The X Factor, joining Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. But she'll have to prove her worth before she strikes a deal like pop star Spears.
The former Disney star - who had a well-publicized stint in rehab last year - is set to receive $1 million for her work. Check out pictures of Demi here.

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera's over the top salary on NBC’s The Voice mirrors her status as a star. Christina, 31, is earning $10 million for the popular talent show -- reportedly nearly double that of her co-judges Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. The singer - who is currently dating set assistant Matt Rutler - has received mixed reviews on her performance on the show but has already reportedly signed on for a third season. See photos of Christina here.

Cee Lo Green

Pacific Coast News
His middle name is 'lo' but his The Voice salary is anything but. Cee Lo Green, 37, is making the same as his male co-judges and pulling in $6 million a season. The Gnarls Barkley songwriter and music producer has launched numerous careers off the back of the hit NBC show, but he's not so keen on all the drama that comes with it. He recently opened up about Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine's squabbling and confessed, "It's getting a little old and a little inconvenient for everyone." For photos of Cee Lo shoot over here.

Britney Spears

She's no stranger to being judged, having been at the center of one of the tabloid media’s most spectacular falls from grace, but Britney Spears, 30, has cleaned up her act. Having returned to the stage, the ‘Oops I Did It Again’ diva has resurrected her career to the extent that she's pocketed $15 million to become a judge on The X Factor. The former Mousketeer has plenty of experience, though: she became a household name when she was just 16-years-old. For more photos of Britney, click here.

Blake Shelton

He was the mentor of the winning act on The Voice and Blake Shelton's pay packet reflects his hard work. The country music star, 35, earns $6 million per season and recently got to tell his critics to 'kiss his ass' following his success. Blake not only has a thriving career, but his love life is just as rich. He's been married to fellow singer Miranda Lambert for just over a year. Check out more photos of Blake and his wife here.

Adam Levine

While he's getting just over half what fellow judge Christina Aguilera is being paid, Adam Levine, 33, has made a massive impact on NBC’s top-rated show The Voice. Still, the Maroon 5 front man is raking in $6 million for his efforts and earning further popularity at the same time. That’s a lot of money for a newly single man, too! Adam no longer has girlfriend of two years, model Anne Vyalitsyna, to shower with expensive gifts! To see pictures of Adam, click here.

Celebrities are constantly judged on their performance, be it as an actor or musician. Even their love lives are subject to scrutiny. Yet with the advent of reality television, many stars are now finding themselves on the end of the schtick -- in the hot seat – and doing the judging themselves.

With this week’s announcement that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have joined Fox’s The X Factor on multi-million dollar salaries, replacing the fired stars Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, we decided to examine just how much money talks.

So… does anyone match out to the motor mouth himself, Simon Cowell, who reportedly makes $75 million each year? Check out our gallery to find out.
