Heidi Klum and her family were enjoying a relaxing vacation in
paradise when the supermodel/TV host quickly sprung into action Sunday, March 31,
to rescue her oldest son Henry, who got caught up in a dangerous riptide
at a beach on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Two of Klum's nannies also
got into trouble and had to be helped from the water.
In a statement to ET Monday, Heidi said, "We got pulled into the ocean
by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child
and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able
to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."
