The Biggest 2014 Oscar Fashion Trends

Hollywood's biggest stars gathered at the 2014 Oscars on Sunday evening, making it one of the busiest red carpets of the year. Check out the key trends that emerged from the night!

First up are nude dresses, with Cate Blanchett (in Armani Prive), Angelina Jolie (in Elie Saab) and Jennifer Garner (in Oscar de la Renta) all showing off a gorgeous understated glamour.

White tuxedos seemed to be the good-luck look of the night as both Jared Leto and Matthew McConaughey won for their roles in Dallas Buyers Club while sporting the style. Also in white suits were hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Ryan Seacrest. 

Another color that dominated the red carpet was winter white, with Naomi Watts (in Calvin Klein), Calista Flockhart (in Andrew Gn) and Kristen Bell (in Roberto Cavalli) all rocking the innocent hue.

Kate Hudson (in Atelier Versace) and Lupita Nyong'o (Prada) looked amazing in low-cut designs.

Jennifer Lawrence (in Dior, with Neil Lane jewelry), Kristen Bell (in Roberto Cavalli, with Piaget jewelry) and Naomi Watts (in Calvin Klein, with Bvlgari jewelry) all let their exquisite -- and expensive -- jewelry do the talking.

Portia de Rossi (In Naeem Khan) and Olivia Wilde (in Valentino) managed to make turtleneck dresses look hot.
