New Movies on DVD & Blu-ray: March 3

Scarlett Johansson's formidable talents are showcased in a trio of films in this collection. In 'Girl with a Pearl Earring,' Scarlett brings Johannes Vermeer's classic painting to life as Griet, the 17-year-old muse of the Dutch Baroque artist (played by Colin Firth). In 'A Good Woman,' Scarlett plays one half of a vacationing American couple who are caught up in a British scandal after her husband has an apparent affair with Helen Hunt's character. And in 'An American Rhapsody,' Scarlett plays a rebellious foster child who decides to trace her roots and return to Budapest, where she was born, to find her true identity.

Tommy Lee Jones leads an all-star cast (including John Goodman, Peter Sarsgaard, Mary Steenburgen and Ned Beatty) in this gripping psychological thriller set in the hidden worlds of the Louisiana bayou. Jones plays a veteran detective whose investigation into a series of grisly murders in Cajun country threatens the safety of his family.

Golden Globe nominee Kristin Scott Thomas plays Juliette Fontaine, an ex-doctor re-entering the outside world after serving 15 years in prison for an unspeakable crime. With nowhere to go, she moves in with her loving but estranged sister (Elsa Zylberstein) and her husband (Serge Hazanavicius), who worries that her presence may have a serious impact on their children -- given the nature of her crime.

Special features include deleted scenes with optional director's commentary and an English version featuring the voice of Kristin Scott Thomas.

With the live-action extravaganza just days away, fans and newbies alike can "watch" the acclaimed Watchmen graphic novel in a whole new way on Blu-ray and DVD. Produced by 'Watchmen' director Zack Snyder, 'Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic' contains all 12 chapters of the superhero saga adding motion, voice and sound to the strikingly drawn panels of the murder mystery.

The discs contain Movie Cash, good for $7.50 off of a movie ticket for 'Watchmen,' out Friday, and the Blu-ray features "Watchmen Theatrical Video Journal with Dave Gibbons" and an exclusive first look at the theatrical film with an action-packed scene from the movie available exclusively through Warner Bros. BD-Live.

Hollywood goes to the dogs! The live-action 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' stars Jamie Lee Curtis and features the vocal talents of Drew Barrymore as Chloe, a pampered, diamond-clad Beverly Hills Chihuahua who loses her luxurious lifestyle when she gets lost during a Mexico getaway vacation. George Lopez plays Papi, a Chihuahua who's crazy for Chloe and will do anything to rescue her south of the border. The film also features the talents of Piper Perabo, Andy Garcia, Placido Domingo, Luis Guzman, Cheech Marin and Edward James Olmos.

Special features include filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes, "Blooper Scooper," and the all-new animated short "Legend of the Chihuahua." Blu-ray features also include featurette exclusives such as "Pet Pals: The Voices Behind the Dogs," "Hitting the Bark: On Set with the Dogs of Beverly Hills Chihuahua" and "Even More Canine Capers in Additional Deleted Scenes."

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman headline this epic saga set in the days leading to World War II. Nicole plays Lady Sarah Ashley, an English aristocrat who reluctantly teams up with Hugh's Drover, a rough-and-tumble local who guides her to the land she inherited. As they bicker and bond across their long, rugged journey, the Japanese bomb the city of Darwin and they find themselves dragged into the deadly undertow of World War II. Special features include deleted scenes.
