'Game of Thrones': Latest Episode Featured a Brief Cameo From This Country Music Star

Can you guess who showed up?!

The latest episode of Game of Thrones included yet another blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo from one of the music world's biggest stars!

Warning: spoiler ahead!

As Sunday's episode drew to a close and the Night King marched toward Winterfell to claim victory, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) raced after the icy villain. However, when the Night King realized he was being followed, he turned and -- as he did in "Hardhome" -- raised all the nearby bodies from the dead. And country music star Chris Stapleton happened to be among them!

The moment is incredibly brief, but eagle-eyed fans should catch a glimpse of a long-bearded undead wilding who looks unmistakably like the "Tennessee Whiskey" singer. Like the rest of humanity, it turns out the 41-year-old crooner is a huge fan of the show. So he, his bass player J.T. Cure and tour manager jumped at the chance to get small roles in the sprawling fantasy series, which meant taking a trip to the show's massive Northern Ireland set to make it happen.

"I was like, you know, I would gladly fly to wherever in the world just to be a small part and get to watch that show going down," Stapleton told Rolling Stone. "They were gracious enough to let me come participate that way."

"They knew we weren't actors," he added with a laugh. "So the direction was basically, we're going to place you, and when we tell you to, open your eyes. And they trained us on how White Walkers are supposed to stand up and move when they're first waking up. We had a crash course in that."

His wife, Morgane Stapleton, took the liberty of posting the very moment he appeared on screen, springing to life as a newborn undead warrior.

"Episode 3....My wildling is a white walker #got," she captioned the moment. In the clip, she proudly states, "There you are!" as Chris appears on the ground.

Chris is just the latest musician to appear on the HBO's mega-hit show. Everyone from members of the Icelandic post-rock group Sigur Ros, to the metal band Mastadon, to Coldplay have dropped by over the show's lifespan.

However, the most famous appearance has to be Ed Sheeran, who serenaded Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) in the premiere episode of season 7 in 2017.

Speaking of Arya, the youngest Stark sister played a truly pivotal role in Sunday's episode, stopping the Night King at the very last moment and ending the undead army's assault
