GRAMMYs 2019: What You Didn’t See on TV — Someone Fainted and More!

Here’s what you didn’t see on Sunday's live broadcast of the GRAMMYs.

It was truly an epic night at Sunday’s GRAMMY Awards as the best in music filled the Staples Center for legendary performances, emotional acceptance speeches, and wild fashion moments. 

The show’s live broadcast picked up many memorable moments, including Michelle Obama’s surprise appearance during the opening monologue, Lady Gaga’s bizarre post-performance pose, Drake’s shortened speech, and more.

But what about those moments that didn’t make it on camera?

ET has you covered with eyewitness coverage from inside the event, where an unknown woman passed out, there were lots of celebrity standing ovations, and more. Here’s what you missed:

8:29 p.m. PT: The mention of Mac Miller gets explosive applause during the In Memorium tribute. Aretha Franklin and Avicii also received lots of love. 

8:16 p.m. PT: She’s no sore loser. Bebe Rexha stands up, clapping, for Dua Lipa as she wins Best New Artist. Rexha exits the arena after Lipa’s win.

8:10 p.m. PT: After her win for Best Rap AlbumCardi B (holding Offset’s hand the entire time) walks by a woman, reportedly a seat filler, who has passed out on the side of the stage. “People were freaking out,” an eyewitness tells ET. “They were trying to get her up quickly [before the show returned from commercial break]."

7:35 p.m. PT: Alex Rodriguez jumps up out of his seat when Jennifer Lopez performs her Motown tribute. He takes out his cell phone to film her singing with Smokey Robinson.

7:25 p.m. PT: Travis Scott’s biggest fans are apparently Drake and Kylie Jenner. Both stars stood for his performance. Jayden Smith also broke out some bouncy dance moves all by himself in the aisle. 

7:05 p.m. PT: Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross run to the center of the arena to help their mother, Diana Ross, walk down the platform.

6:50 p.m. PT: Audience seems genuinely shocked Drake is in the building and when he appears on stage to accept his GRAMMY. His mic was cut off as he spoke for several seconds more. The audience could only hear music and not what he was saying.

6:27 p.m. PT: Bebe Rexha immediately stands up the minute Cardi B hits the stage. Rexha knows the lyrics and is singing along with Cardi. A-Rod is also dancing to Cardi.

6:23 p.m. PT: Robin Thicke stands and dances for H.E.R.’s entire performance. BTS also rocks out to H.E.R., some members fake drumming along with the song.

6:07 p.m. PT: The audience is all singing along to Dolly Parton's “9 to 5,” even A-Rod is up from his seat bopping to the song.

5:59 p.m. PT: BTS is dancing and clapping their hands to Parton and Miley Cyrus singing “Jolene.”

5:31 p.m. PT: Janelle Monae got everyone in the arena dancing to her hit song, "Pynk." Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini, Tracee Ellis Ross and Lady Gaga – all jamming to Monae.

“Gaga threw her right fist up in the air and was dancing right in front of J.Lo and A-Rod,” an eyewitness tells ET. Ross also stands from her seat to dance.

5:17 p.m. PT: New England Patriots and Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman is heavily booed by Los Angeles Rams fans when he takes the stage to present. 

5:15 p.m. PT: Trish Cyrus jumps up from her seat when Miley Cyrus hits the stage and throws her hands up in the air as her daughter performs.  Billy Ray Cyrus joins in as well, both clearly proud parents.

5:09 p.m. PT: The audience goes wild as the Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michelle Obama and J.Lo walk out onto the stage. “The crowd is freaking out!” an eyewitness says as Obama starts to speak. “Someone just shouted, ‘We love you, Michelle.’”

5:01 p.m. PT: Rexha gets up from her seat to dance during Camila Cabello’s performance of "Havana." The crowd stands with Rexha during the performance, and then the singer takes her seat and starts filming the performance on her cell phone.

4:57 p.m. PT: As Parton is being escorted to her seat, country music singer Chris Stapleton stops her to say hello. She then gives Billy Ray Cyrus a hug and kiss as well. Not to be left out, Tony Bennett gets up from his seat to greet Parton, who both are sitting in the same row.
