The innovative songstress will kick off a tour in support of her upcoming album in June.

Janelle Monae continues to innovate.

The 32-year-old songstress released a new video on Monday for her latest single, “I Like That,” and the trippy, Lacey Duke-directed clip has fans more excited than ever for Monae’s forthcoming third studio album, Dirty Computer.

In the video for “I Like That,” Monae mixes stunning, lush visuals with just a bit of the digital dissonance that the album’s title hints at. In one shot, she sits with clones of herself in auditorium risers, dressed all in white, with her hair styled in three large, ombre braids. In another, she rocks a more natural look, clad in a colorful skirt and large hoop earrings while a peacock preens behind her.

“I Like That” comes on the heels of Dirty Computer singles “Make Me Feel,” “Django Jane” and “Pynk” -- each of which features its own stunning video accompaniment -- with the full album set for an April 27 release.

Monae will be hitting the road in support of the album soon thereafter, with the newly announced Dirty Computer Tour set to kick off in Seattle, Washington, on June 11 and run throughout North America, ending in Atlanta, Georgia, on Aug. 4.

Back in February, ET spoke with Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson, who seems to be a muse of sorts for Dirty Computer, appearing in Monae’s videos for both “Make Me Feel” and “Pynk.”

"Janelle and I have been really close. We've been really good friends at this point for about three and a half years," Thompson gushed. "I'm so lucky to have her in my life."

Thompson added that watching Monae thrive in both film and music, all while working to empower others, has been inspiring for her as an artist.

"I'm so proud of her now that she's entering the film space. So what we were able to do for her in this record cycle for her is to make what they are calling an 'emotion picture,'" she explained. "Janelle is somebody that is interested in empowering not just women, but people, to be who they are."

"People called it a bisexual anthem," Thompson said of the "Make Me Feel" song and video. "If it makes people feel liberated in their skin and feel closer to who they are, then I think we did our job."
