The thrilled parent-to-be announced the exciting news on social media on Monday.

Kane Brown is proudly expecting his first child!

The country singer shared that he and his wife, Katelyn Jae, are preparing to become parents with an excited post on Instagram on Monday.

“It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!!” Brown, 25, captioned a scan of the little one in the womb. “But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3 ????? IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Brown’s extreme joy was evident in his multiple exclamation marks, and fans and friends were quick to reply with their shared enthusiasm at the news.

“I knew after watching Aadyn y'all caught baby fever. Congrats!!!!” fellow country star Jimmie Allen wrote, referring to his 4-year-old son, Aadyn.

Brown and Jae, also a singer, got engaged over Easter in 2017 and tied the knot at the Mint Springs Farm in Franklin, Tennessee, in October. Footage from their stunning ceremony was previously shared in an alternate video released by Brown for his song “Good As You.”

The happy news comes after Brown recently opened up about his own childhood, and the key role his mom and grandmother played in his upbringing, during a behind-the-scenes interview on the set of his official music video for the track “Good As You.”

“My mom, my nana, my aunt raised me, so I was raised by all women, listening to Shania Twain, Sugarland -- all female artists,” Brown said in ET’s clip from the interview. “They just did this good job. My mom was basically my dad, my nana was my mom.”

“And, it’s just awesome being raised by women because I can relate to them so much,” the singer continued. “It kinda helped me in the real world, so this is just an awesome video basically paying tribute to my nana and my mom and how they raised me. I love them very much.”
