The 27-year-old actress used her speech to stress the importance of telling female stories.

It's a win for Mrs. Maisel!

Rachel Brosnahan scored her first Golden Globe at Sunday's awards show for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy for her role as Midge Maisel on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel -- and her acceptance speech was nothing less than marvelous.

The 27-year-old actress was visibly emotional by her big win when Carol Burnett and Jennifer Aniston announced her name, but the actresses weren't the only big names in the room she was starstruck by.

"Hi, wow, cool," she sweetly began her speech. "Thank you to the HFPA. Thank you to our fearless creators and leaders, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, you're amazing."

"I'm going to have to write a whole bunch of thank you notes... Hi, Oprah! Wow!" she continued, spotting the mogul in the front row before collecting herself for a passionate message about telling women's stories.

"This is a story about a bold and brilliant and complicated woman, and I am proud to be a part of it, but there are so many women's stories out there that still need and deserve to be told. So as we enter this new year, please, let's continue to hold each other accountable and invest in and make and champion these stories," she said. "Thank you so much."

ET spoke with Brosnahan on the red carpet ahead of the show, where she opened up about her involvement in the Time's Up initiative, revealing that it was Eva Longoria who called her up to talk about the collective.

"I was extremely honored to be invited into this group, and here tonight to invite everyone to join us... You are not alone, and it's really incredible to see that represented here tonight," she shared.
