From 1989 to 2006, The Billboard Awards were one of the music industry's most highly anticipated events, and with this year marking the show's rebirth, the stars came out in full force to perform in and celebrate the event's long-awaited return.

Hosted by "The Hangover II" star Ken Jeong, the show drew big celebrities from music, film and television, with guests in attendance ranging from music legend U2, to "Glee" star Matthew Morrison, to Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman.

Nominee Taylor Swift shared her excitement in the award show's return, telling us she feels "so honored" to be nominated for an astonishing seven awards on what she calls a "really special night."

Although Fergie was one of the night's performers, she confessed she couldn't wait to see Britney and Nicki Minaj. Black Eyed Peas band mate Taboo added that holding the night's festivities in Vegas added a fun, "party" atmosphere making the night even more "awesome."

With "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday season finale only days away, team Hines finds itself a fan with Eric Stonestreet and Tim Allen, while Fergie is firmly planted on team Kirstie, explaining that she "loves" her. Allen's wife Jane Hajduk, doesn't share the Steelers love, instead choosing Kirstie as her pick to win the mirror ball trophy.
