LISTEN: Cher Covers Miley Cyrus

After going back on some comments regarding Miley Cyrus' controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance to CBS' Sunday Morning ("Outfit, terrible. Dancing, terrible. Singing, average."), Cher is showing the Wrecking Ball singer the highest form of flattery by covering her song.

The 67-year-old music icon released her lyric music video for her track I Hope You Find It off her album Closer to the Truth, but you might think it sounds familiar as it was also performed by Miley on the soundtrack for her 2010 film The Last Song. Check it out:

Prior to the release of this video, Cher sat down with ET and said of Cyrus, "Art is art, and it's meant to be controversial. And you can like it or not. If someone puts their art out there, you get to like it or not."

Adding of the 20-year-old's new persona, "When I was doing my stuff when I was younger people went, 'She's almost naked!' I wasn't almost naked, ever, but things have just progressed. I kind of opened the door a little way and these girls kind of crashed it down."
