Cancer Survivor Fran Drescher Shares Advice for Prevention

As an uterine cancer survivor, "Happily Divorced" star Fran Drescher is on a mission to make sure that no one else has to endure what she did.

Fran reached 11 years in remission this week, and she's celebrating the milestone by educating people on the everyday household products that contain cancer-causing materials.

"Ninety-five percent of all cancers are caused by the environment," Fran told Tonic.com, who is partnering with the actress for this initiative.

One tip given by the website: substitute cleaning supplies that contain ammonia, chlorine, benzene or formaldehyde with ones that don't.

Along with valuable counsel, Fran will also be giving a script signed by the whole cast of "Happily Divorced" to one Tonic.com reader who does the deed.
