Nicole Kidman says that contrary to reports, she did not offer advice to Katie Holmes in the wake of her shocking split with Tom Cruise in June.

Speaking to the Australian magazine WHO, Kidman responded to a report that she recently had contact with Holmes. "I never spoke to her." The Paperboy star added: "I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that."

Kidman, 45, also opened up to the magazine about the difficulties she faced after splitting up with Cruise in 2001, when she experienced her "loneliest, loneliest existence" and doubted she would find love again. "There was a long time when I never thought it would happen for me again - and it happened!" she said. "I never, ever take Keith (Urban) or our love for granted, and I always keep in my mind that my dream is to grow very old with him.

The actress also spoke about the good years she spent with Cruise and the two adopted children she shares with him, Bella, 19 and Connor, 17 (she also has two kids with Urban, Sunday, 4, and Faith, 21 months). "I married (Tom) really fast and really young, but I don't regret that because it got me Bella and Connor, and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period," Kidman said. "Then when it didn't work out, I had to really dig deep and find my way through depression, but I have no regrets about all of it. It was all a part of growing up."
