ET caught up with Star Jones at the Go Red for Women/The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Show, where she weighed in on Rosie O'Donnell's first appearance on ABC's The View since her 2007 exit.

"We sometimes can be a dysfunctional family over there at The View, but we're family nonetheless," said Jones, acknowledging O'Donnell's rocking time on the daytime talk show. "Everybody goes back and has a good time. No big deal whatsoever."

This year, the red dress fashion show featured more than 20 celebrities walking the runway in exclusive red dresses to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

"It's very personal for me, because I was diagnosed with heart disease four years ago and had successful open heart surgery," said Jones, 51, who emphasized that the surgery was successful because of her early diagnosis. "For us to put fashion and fun with bringing awareness to the No. 1 killer of all women in America, that's a good night for us."

Lindsey Vonn, Alicia Quarles, Colbie Caillat, Giada De Laurentiis, Ireland Baldwin, Joan Jett, Kat Graham, Leona Lewis, NeNe Leakes, Daphne Oz, Sasha Cohen, Taryn Manning, Victoria Justice and The Insider's Thea Andrews were also in attendance.
