The model shared the painful (but hilarious) mishap on social media.
Chrissy Teigen is at it again on Instagram.
The 29-year-old model and wife of John Legend is known to be an avid cook, but apparently she doesn't have much experience when it comes to jalapenos. Teigen posted several pics while prepping what looks like a delicious dinner, but things got weird during the jalapeno popper prep.

"Just took a shower after cleaning those jalapenos and it truly was the biggest mistake of my life," she tweeted. "Like I don’t think I can have kids now." For good measure, she added: "I feel like I'm covered in paper cuts and a demon is pouring lime juice all over me."
Luckily for Teigen, some kind soul suggested that milk would calm her burning skin. Luckily for us, she Instagrammed the hilarious moment of relief.

Is she laughing? Is she crying? It's hard to say for sure (especially considering this is what her crying face actually looks like), but we're just glad she's feeling better.
Turns out Teigen was full of pro-tips that night, including this one about chopping onions.

According to another post, Teigen, her mother and her hubby were prepping Super Bowl recipes for Sunday's big game. Hopefully the next batch will go more smoothly!
