Lea Michele Remembers Cory Monteith on His Birthday With a Touching Message
Today marks what would have been Cory Monteith's 33rd birthday, so it certainly comes as no surprise that Lea Michele took a moment to pay tribute to her late boyfriend and Gleeco-star.
The actress posted a picture of Monteith playing the drums on Twitter and wrote, "I know you're serenading everyone right now…We love you Cory! Happy Birthday.."

Last year, she also honored Monteith through Twitter with a sweet message that read, "The biggest heart and most beautiful smile... In all of our hearts... We love you so. Happy Birthday."

Monteith tragically died on July 13, 2013. He was found inside a Vancouver hotel room, and his death was later attributed to "mixed drug toxicity" involving heroin and alcohol.
Glee honored him in October that same year with an episode titled "The Quarterback."
