It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a... "cheater"?

Tiger Woods got a taste of what Bobby Flay went through during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony when a banner reading "CHEATER" flew over him as he was competing in the 115th U.S. Open.


NEWS: Tiger Woods Hasn't Slept Since Lindsey Vonn Split

Needless to say, the message in the sky didn't help the three-time U.S. Open champion's golf game. Woods got four bogeys in his first seven holes.

Around the eighth hole, he lost his grip on his golf club altogether and it went flying through the air.

This past May, Woods and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn called it quits after dating for over two years.

While Vonn and the pro golfer seemed to have parted ways amicably, this "CHEATER" banner could be in reference to Woods' 2009 scandal. It came to light after an argument with his then wife, Elin Nordegren, outside their Florida home that he had been involved in numerous extramarital affairs.

"I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to," Woods told the media in February 2010. "I felt that I had worked hard my entire life and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me. I felt I was entitled. Thanks to money and fame, I didn't have to go far to find them. I was wrong. I was foolish."
