Fox 5 anchorman Steven Lacy tweeted a photo on Sunday of the 46-year-old comedian driving the fancy car in Manhattan, which is pretty remarkable given the fatal car crash last June that left him in critical condition.
"I spotted Tracy Morgan driving a Lamborghini this weekend in Manhattan," Lacy explained on Facebook. "I spoke with him briefly. He said he was feeling well and when I said I loved the car he said 'thanks' and that he was being careful behind the wheel."
"As a huge Tracy Morgan fan it was so great to see him back out in public and feeling better," he added. "Much love Tracy!"
Last month, the former Saturday Night Live star dished on his recovery during an appearance on the Today show. "There are times where I have my good days and my bad days, where I forgot things, you know," he admitted. "There are times where I have the headaches and the nose bleeds."
"I can't believe I'm here. I can't believe I'm in front of you," he told Matt Lauer bluntly.
Morgan's tour bus collided with a Walmart truck on the New Jersey turnpike last June, which aside from his own traumatic brain injury, resulted in the death of his close friend, comic James McNair. In May, Walmart settled a lawsuit filed by the comedian. The amount of the settlement is undisclosed.
