Nick Cave's 15-Year-Old Son Dies After Cliff Fall

Arthur Cave, the 15-year-old son of rock legend Nick Cave, died Tuesday night after sustaining life-threatening injuries from a cliff fall near Brighton, England, Sussex Police confirmed.

Arthur passed away after being taken to the hospital, and police told NBC Newsthat they are not treating the teen's death as suspicious.

Cave, 57, has three other sons, including Arthur's twin brother Earl.

"Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy, loving boy," Cave and his wife Susie Bick said in a statement. "We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."

Arthur and his brother appeared in their father's 2014 musical documentary drama, 20,000 Days On Earth.

Cave, an Australian-born musician, is best known for his band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. He's also scored numerous soundtracks for such films as The Road and Lawless.
