J.J. Watt's mom, Connie Watt, knows her son's worth.

"I think J.J. would make such a great catch for anybody, because he is a true down-home person who has such a good heart," Connie told ET. "What you see is what you get with J.J."

The Houston Texans defensive end is 6' 5", chiseled and financially sound, so while his mom might be biased that doesn't mean she's not right.

J.J. signed a $100 million contract with his NFL team last year, but he still gives back through his J.J. Watt Foundation, which provides after-school athletic programs for middle school kids.

"We just don't want the kids going without equipment or turned away, because they don't have enough funding or uniforms or things like that," said Connie, who runs the charity from the family's home in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. "He knew that there was a need for this type of thing, and that every child didn't have the same type of opportunity he did."

When he's not on the field or helping kids, J.J. is working out hard. He showed off the fruits of his labor in his shirtless photo shoot for Men's Health's 2015 Fall Fitness special edition.

"I was incredibly impressed with how he looked on that cover!" Connie gushed.

The 26-year-old football pro has plenty of years left to play at an elite professional level, but Connie says that J.J. already has his next career planned when it comes time to hang up his cleats.

"I think J.J. will definitely pursue an acting career when he's done playing football," said Connie. "He enjoys it."

ET caught up with J.J. in July, when he gushed about meeting his longtime celebrity crush, the now-married Jennifer Aniston.

"It's been one of those things where she's the celebrity crush and we got to make it happen, and it was pretty incredible," he told ET's Kevin Frazier. "I don't remember a whole lot about her because I was just so excited to get the photograph and meet her and say hello."

The J.J. Watt Foundation has donated more than $1.25 million worth of equipment to after-school programs. You can visit the official website for more information.
