Kelly Ripa received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday and her whole family was there to celebrate.
The Live! With Kelly and Michael host was joined by hubby Mark Consuelos and the couple’s three adorable children: 18-year-old Michael -- who is the spitting image of his father-- 14-year-old Lola, and 12-year-old Joaquin.
Consuelos and Ripa have been open about their strict parenting style in the past, revealing that they’re more concerned about raising their kids right than being their friends.
"I don't think she likes me, but I don't care," Ripa, 45, told Wendy Williams of her teenage daughter last year. "I'm like, 'I'm not your friend. I'm your mom.' I just feel an obligation as her mom to keep her living in the real world. I don't care who you are or what you do, if you're a mom, you're a mom."
Consuelos echoed that sentiment in an interview with Men’s Health in June, proving that the couple, who have been married since 1996, are totally in sync when it comes to their kids.
"These days, my dad and I are good friends," the 44-year-old Alpha House star said of his father, whom he says raised him in the “old school” style that Consuelos and Ripa imitate with their children. "We talk all the time and have great conversations. I can't afford to be like that with my kids at this point. Being friends with my kids just isn't in the cards. I have to be like my dad was with me."
"My dad showed up for me, and I'm showing up for my kids," Consuelos continued. "That's what it means to become a better man. Show up."
