Vocal cord surgery halted her last tour, but here's hoping Adele is ready to hit the road again!

She's had her fair share of touring setbacks, but here's hoping Adele will be back on the road soon!

The 27-year-old released her emotionally charged new single, "Hello," on Friday, giving fans their first taste of her highly anticipated, third studio album, 25.

The LP will be released globally on Nov. 20, but the songstress has yet to reveal when fans can expect to see her singing live again. Back in 2011, Adele was forced to cancel her Adele Live tour to undergo vocal cord surgery, and the following year, Adele became a new mom to son Angelo.

The singer did make a brief return to the public eye in early 2013, performing "Skyfall" and accepting an Oscar, a GRAMMY, and a Golden Globe for her James Bond theme song. Backstage at the Golden Globes, Adele told ET that she was "absolutely" looking forward to touring again soon.

"I was meant to be doing it and then my throat happened, so I couldn't do it. And then I got knocked up, then I couldn't do it," she said with a laugh. "I will be doing it, not sure when, but when a new record comes, when I write a new record, absolutely! I can't wait."

Even with her enthusiasm, Adele has been vocal about her terrifying stage fright. Back in 2011, she told British Vogue, "I puke quite a lot before going onstage." She even confessed to Rolling Stone, "I don't like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot."

"The thought of someone spending $20 to come and see me and saying, 'Oh, I prefer the record and she's completely shattered the illusion' really upsets me," she said to Rolling Stone. "It's such a big deal that people come give me their time."

Perhaps with three albums under her belt, her next tour will prove less nerve wracking! "I do really love performing, but I can't get over my nerves," she told BBC Radio 2 on Friday morning. "I don't really enjoy it until I'm off stage."

But from the crowd, you'd never sense the nerves. In The Hollywood Reporter's 2011 review of Adele's show at the Palladium, the singer is praised for her "seemingly effortless ease" during the stripped-down set.

Aside from her powerhouse vocals, fans can also likely expect to witness Adele's wicked sense of humor in full force on stage.

"When I get nervous, I try to bust jokes," she previously told Rolling Stone. "It does work. I chat a lot of f*cking sh*t, though."
