'I'm just looking to do the best Jennifer Lopez show anyone has ever seen,' the 'Idol' judge told 'Ocean Drive' magazine.

You can take the girl out of the Bronx, but you can’t take the Bronx out of the girl!

That’s just part of the reason why Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will pay homage to her New York roots.

The 46-year-old singer-actress is featured on the November cover of Ocean Drive, and she opened up to the magazine about bringing Jenny from the block front and center once again.

“I want it to be a high-energy, Bronx-kind of block party,” she said. “The most exciting shows make you dance, and scream, and jump up and down. I want people to really let loose.”

“I’m just looking to do the best Jennifer Lopez show anyone has ever seen,” she added.

Not only will fans get the best of J. Lo, but they’ll get to hear the “I Luh Ya Papi” singer cover hits from other delightful divas.

“I want the show to be always changing, so it’s a unique experience every time -- one night a Selena song, and another maybe something by Diana Ross,” she said.

After all, there’s a reason Lopez has titled the show, which opens Jan. 22, All I Have.

“It’s always been my approach to performing, to work, to everything I do in life: I give it all I have. That’s why it’s the name of my show,” she explained. “It’s a much more intimate experience, and it’s about real performers -- and not everybody can really do that.”

But the best part may be having her family, especially her mom, visit the American Idol judge while she temporarily calls Sin City home.

“Even if she weren’t [a fan of gambling], she would still come and see me,” Lopez said of her mother.
