Tiffany Thornton took to social media to pay her respects to late husband Chris Carney just one day after he was tragically killed in a single-vehicle car crash.

In the photo posted to Instagram on Saturday, Carney has a huge smile on his face as he cradles his and Thornton's two children -- Kenneth James, 3, and Bentley Cash, 21 months -- during a family trip to a lake.

"My life. My love. My angel," the former Disney Channel star wrote.

On Friday, many of Thornton's Sonny With a Chance and So Random! co-stars took to social media to send their condolences, including her close friend, Demi Lovato. When Carney and Thornton tied the knot in 2011, the "Confident" singer was one of the bridesmaids.

"I'm still in shock and I can't believe I'm writing this but #RIPChrisCarney," Lovato tweeted. "You're already missed. We love you." A longer message was also posted to her Instagram.

The posts were a follow-up to a tweet Lovato wrote earlier in the day, which simply read, "This isn't real."

As ET previously reported, Carney, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene on U.S. Highway 70 East in Arkansas. The driver of the vehicle, Carney's friend Ezekiel Blanton, 37, was also killed. The accident occurred about six miles east of Hot Springs, where both men lived and Carney's mother, Ruth, is the mayor.

Sarah Ruth King Carney, who is married to Chris' brother, Greg Carney, shared a personal message with ET.

"Chris was at the best time in his life. He turned his life around and made his life right," she said of the reality TV personality and musician. "He was the best father to his beautiful boys. And the best husband to his wife. He had such a big heart. Loved his family and friends so much. And he is loved by many. He will always be remembered and we know he is in heaven."

News of Carney's death came just one day after former Stone Temple Pilots lead singer Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus at 48.
