Demi Lovato
is definitely not feeling cool for the summer.

The 23-year-old singer took a tumble onstage at the tail-end of her 20-minute set at the Z100 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday night -- and boy, was it a big one!

After closing out the set with her hit single “Cool for the Summer” and wishing the crowd a good night, Lovato didn’t see a mic stand lying on the ground behind her. As she turned to go offstage, Lovato instead hit the ground after tripping over the mic stand. Ouch!

The concert was live-streamed for all to see, but the cameras happened to cut away right when the fall happened. However, once the camera zooms back in onto the stage at the 23-minute mark in the YouTube video below, Lovato is flat on her back -- arms and legs flailing about.

Lovato had a laugh about her onstage moment, tweeting Friday night after the performance, “Guys don't you get it by now? Only cool kids fall on stage....... .”

The Lovatics also took to social media to express their lack of surprise following the mishap.

This isn’t the first time the “Confident” singer has fallen onstage.

Back in July, Lovato performed at a pool party in Los Angeles to promote -- you guessed it -- “Cool for the Summer” and fell chest first on the slippery platform.

“Well... It's not a tour without busting ass!!!!!!” Lovato joked after the incident with the hashtag #NOTcoolforthesummer.
