Kristin Cavallari is taking comfort in her newborn daughter, Saylor, in the midst of her family tragedy.
The 28-year-old former Laguna Beach star Instagrammed a picture of Saylor's feet on Monday, calling the 3-week-old her "little angel." Last Thursday, Kristin confirmed that her older brother, Michael, was found dead in Grand County, Utah, after being reported missing for nearly two weeks. He was 30 years old.
"She has been my light throughout this whole thing and has given me so much strength," Kristin wrote. "Thank you baby girl for coming when u did."

The reality star welcomed Saylor, her third child with her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, on Nov. 23. Coincidentally, Michael was arrested that same day and released from jail on Nov. 25 after making bail, according to police records. The Orange County Sheriff's Department told ET he was arrested for making criminal threats with a shotgun.
Just two days after his release, a 2014 Honda Civic registered in Michael's name was found abandoned in Grand County, Utah.
Last Friday, the Grand County Sheriff's office told ET that they believe exposure to the elements is the cause of Michael's death. Specifically, investigators believe the cold weather indicates that hypothermia may have been a factor. No drugs, alcohol, or weapons were found at the scene of Michael's death, which is not being investigated as a suicide, as no note was recovered.

Obviously, it's been a difficult time for the Cavallari family. Last Thursday, Kristin wrote that her heart is "in a million pieces" after receiving the devastating news.
"Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh," she wrote alongside a childhood photo of the siblings together. "You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."
