Coldplay is gearing up for the performance of a lifetime, and the nerves are starting to kick in.

Moments before kickoff on Sunday, ET's Kevin Frazier caught up with lead guitarist Jonny Buckland outside of his dressing room inside Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Understandably, Buckland admitted that he and his bandmates are feeling anxious about their highly anticipated Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show.

"We're excited," Buckland revealed. "A little nervous, but we're excited."

We can't blame them -- they'll be performing inside of a stadium that fits approximately 68,500 people, not to mention, the millions of viewers who'll be catching it at home.

ET also caught a glimpse of frontman Chris Martin backstage, who flashed us a smile. He appeared very calm and relaxed in casual attire, which consisted of black jeans, a white long-sleeved shirt, black beanie and matching scarf.

Inside the dressing room, Martin's ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and their two children -- Moses, 9, and Apple, 11 -- were hanging out with their dad, as was Bruno Mars, who's set to take the stage with the band.

In addition to Mars, Beyoncé will also be making an appearance during the halftime show. ET exclusively reported that Queen Bey will be performing her new single, "Formation," which was released on Saturday.

The matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers airs on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. As you wait for halftime (we know who you are), watch the video below to see a sneak peek of the colorful performance Coldplay is preparing.
