Wilmer Valderrama is one proud boyfriend.

ET caught up with the That ‘70s Show alum at the UNITE4:GOOD and Variety’s 3rd Annual “UNITE4:HUMANITY” Event Presented by Karma on Thursday night, where he gushed about his girlfriend, Demi Lovato’s emotional and personal new music video for “Stone Cold.”

“We've been in each other's lives for her entire journey, so to see her evolve as such a multi-faceted artist to me - is really -- what people needed to see,” he explained.

“I've known this about her for a very long time, so I’m very proud of her,” he added.

The 36-year-old explains that the pair are best friends, something he says you need in Hollywood.

“You need someone you can really rely on and you can really trust,” Valderrama shared about their relationship.

And when it comes to possibly popping the question to Lovato, last time we asked the 23-year-old singer about it, she told us, “You gotta ask him.”

So we did!

“I’m gonna skip on this,” Valderrama laughed.
