A Los Angeles judge granted singer-actress Mandy Moore a
three-year restraining order against her alleged stalker on Wednesday.
The man accused of stalking Moore, Salahudin Moultaali, was arrested
last month after repeatedly showing up at the 31-year-old star's Hollywood
home, according to a police report.

The restraining order claims Moultaali left a note
under Moore’s gate claiming he was led to her address and that he was “Satan
and the Devil,” adding, “I am looking to meet for personal reasons. I am God as
well.”
Moultaali showed up at Moore’s door a second time in the
same evening and they spoke via her intercom. “He told me he was from another
planet and looking for me. He knew my name. I told him he had the wrong house
and I hung up,” Moore wrote in her declaration filed with the restraining
order.
The police report submitted with the restraining order
states, Moultaali went to Moore’s address for a third time just days later
and rang her doorbell. She recognized him on her security camera and
immediately called the police. Moultaali attempted to escape on his motorcycle
but was eventually apprehended by police and arrested for stalking.

The restraining order also details an interview conducted
by police claiming Moultaali told officers that “spiritual forces were
guiding him” to Moore, describing her as his wife. He also stated that if he
were not led to her “the world would fall apart or he would be killed.” The
officers concluded Moultaali suffers from mental illness, specifically a
“delusional fixation on Satan, Hell, death and world chaos.”

The guidelines of the restraining order state that Moultaali
must remain 100 yards away from Moore, her residence, vehicles and any location
in which she is working.
Moore stated in her declaration that Moultaali’s
repeated visits to her home and attempts to communicate with her have been
“intensely alarming,” adding, “I am afraid for my safety and well-being. I have
suffered, and continue to suffer, substantial emotional distress.”
