"I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only under one condition," he tweeted on Monday. "No one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... It's my art..."
"My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet," he continued. "Non artist trying to grab the paint brush..."
If his photos on Twitter are any indication, we'd say to expect at least a few adorable shots of West's children, North and Saint, and smokin' hot photos of his wife, Kim Kardashian, on West's hypothetical Instagram account.
Sure, West takes orders from no one, but he may want to consider accepting a few Instagram pointers from Kardashian. After all, the 35-year-old reality star is among the most popular accounts on the platform with a whopping 63.6 million followers.
In the wake of several questionable Twitter outbursts on West's part, a source tells ET that he and Kardashian are "doing better than ever and are not having any problems at all." Meanwhile, family matriarch Kris Jenner recently told ET that the whole family supports West "100 percent."
But that's not to say she doesn't want to ground him every once in a while. Find out why in the player below.
