Jim Bob, 50, and Michelle, 49, offer up five tips that, they say, have helped them throughout their marriage. "Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, which means don't let offenses build up, but apologize and make things right quickly," the Christian couple writes. "Never say put downs or negative name calling, but instead, praise each other with a grateful spirit."
The reality stars also recommend "regular dates," and to read the book, His Needs, Her Needs, by Willard F. Harley.

First on their list is "a close relationship with Jesus," suggesting that "the closer we each get to God, the closer we each get to each other."
The couple's 23-year-old daughter, Jessa Duggar, loved the Facebook post, and even shared it on Instagram. "Great words of advice!" Jessa, who married Ben Seewald in 2014, wrote.
Jim Bob and Michelle's marriage tips were posted just a few day after their oldest son, Josh Duggar, was spotted out with his wife, Anna. ET confirms the two were at Sam's Furniture store in Springdale, Arkansas, on Saturday afternoon, marking the first time they've been seen in public together since Josh's stint in rehab. The former TLC star entered a treatment facility after admitting to being unfaithful to his spouse.

"I don't think they were shopping for themselves," a source tells ET about the casual outing at Northwest Arkansas' largest furniture dealer.
However, a source close to the Duggar family tells ET that Josh "was not around" during the family's Easter celebration the next day. "The Duggars spent Easter as a family. There was lots of food and fun. Members of the family were hanging out for hours. Josh was not around," the source said. "The family is doing well and just focusing on themselves."
