Caitlyn Jenner Discusses What It Would Take to Improve Her Relationship With Kris Jenner
By John Boone
Another day, another opportunity to delve into Kris and Caitlyn Jenner's complicated past.
The 66-year-old I Am Cait star opens up about her "tough" history with her ex-wife during this Sunday's episode of the E! docuseries and ponders what it would take to improve her relationship with Kris.
"I always felt on the defensive with her," Caitlyn reveals. "I feel sometimes now she gets more upset than she was when we were together. And I don't understand why, because I was very honest with her and open with her."
The former couple's relationship has been well documented since Caitlyn's transition. The reality stars came face-to-face for the first time during the first season of I Am Cait, an encounter Caitlyn reflects on in the clip.
"I thought it went pretty good, but after it was over with, I kind of struggled with it a lot," she admits. "Because there's a lot of emotions there, there's 23 years of life together. That's tough stuff."
Meanwhile, in a previously released sneak peek, Kris claimed that Caitlyn has not always been honest about being a woman. "She keeps saying she told me, but she didn't," the 60-year-old momager said. "There was no, 'I am transgender.'"
Scott Disick recently opened up about how his kids reacted to Caitlyn's transition, saying they "don't really know exactly what's gone on." Hear what else he had to say in the video below.
