Prince Hospitalized After His Plane Makes an Emergency Landing

The 57-year-old performed in Atlanta on Thursday night, although he is said to be battling the flu.

Prince is on the mend after being hospitalized just hours after performing an intimate set at Atlanta's Fox Theatre on Thursday night.

A private jet carrying the 57-year-old music icon made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois, early Friday morning, at which point he was transported to a nearby hospital, treated and released three hours later, Prince's rep tells ET.

The singer is still recovering from his bout with the flu, which had caused him to postpone two shows on April 7. Prince decided to hit the stage on Thursday, and a concert review from Paste Magazine speculated: "From the look of it, [Prince had] made a full recovery."

After the brief hospitalization, Prince's rep said that he is now home.
