Amy Schumer says a fan "scared the sh*t" out of her when he ran up to her with a camera in Greenville, South Carolina.
The 34-year-old comedian posted a photo of the guy on Instagram and said the run-in has left her less excited to interact with fans. "I asked him to stop and he said, 'No. It's America and we paid for you.' This was in front of his daughter," she wrote. "I was saying 'stop' and 'no.' Great message to your kid. Yes, legally you are allowed to take a picture of me. But I was asking you to stop and saying no."
Schumer declared, "I will not take picture with people anymore and it's because of this dude in Greenville."

She later added on Twitter: "I'll still take pictures with nice people when I choose if it's a good time for that. But I don't owe you anything. So don't take if I say no."
Schumer also showed some gratitude to fans. "Thanks for the kind words and support," she continued. "I know there are bigger problems in the world. But this was not right."

Leslie Brewer, who says he's the fan in the photo Schumer posted, told Fox Carolina that he recalls the interaction with the Trainwreck star a little differently and posted his own video from the interaction. "I did it in a non-threatening way. She says I got all up in her face, and it was completely different from the video," he said. "You're a celebrity. I understand you want to blast me but that's petty, that's beneath you."
This isn't the first time Schumer has used her Instagram to send a message. Last month, she insisted that it was "not cool" that she was included among Glamour magazine's "Women Who Inspire Us," alongside stars like Melissa McCarthy, Adele, and model Ashley Graham, in their special edition "Chic At Any Size!" issue.
