'Teen Mom 2' Star Jenelle Evans Slams MTV, Says Network Tries to Portray Her as 'the Most Horrible Mother Ever

The 'Teen Mom 2' star wants to start her own YouTube series after accusing MTV of selective editing.

After years of seeing her tumultuous past portrayed on MTV, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans thinks she’s turned her life around. The mother of two has fessed up to her addictions and is dating her new dream man, but she feels the network doesn’t see that.

On Tuesday she took to Twitter to vent some of her frustrations over her portrayal during the show’s latest season.

“I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever. Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story,” she began. “And this season and this upcoming ones were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it. They hold all power in the edit room.”

The North Carolina native has been raising her son Kaiser and working to get custody back of her eldest son, Jace, from her mother, Barbara Evans. Since her start on 16 and Pregnant back in 2010, Jenelle has struggled with a series of disastrous, sometimes abusive relationships, broken engagements, arrests, and substance abuse issues.

These days she seems to have her life back on track, even with the family drama depicted on the show between her and mom, Barbara, and her ex Nathan Griffith.

“You would think they would have shown by now how I’ve been trying to get Jace back for over a year, or how many great times we’ve had,” she tweeted of her son.

Jenelle also threatened to leave the MTV series and start her own project, writing, “I should start my own show where you guys see no negativity but just positive vibes. #NextProject #YouTubeSeries #GoPro.”

This isn’t the first time Jenelle has slammed the show’s editing. Back in March she tweeted about an episode claiming MTV had her tape a misleading voiceover that implied she was keeping her child from his father.
