Hilary Swank and Ruben Torres' engagement was short-lived.
The former tennis pro popped the question to the 41-year-old actress in March, but ET confirmed with Swank's rep on Monday that the two have broken off their engagement.

On Sunday, the two-time Oscar winner was spotted at the 2016 French Open in Paris, France, without her ring. Swank sat between two friends and seemed to be in good spirits as she happily cheered during the championship between Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Andy Murray of Great Britain.
"What a match!! #FrenchOpen #ILOVETennis #WhatASunday #Paris Ok, now back to work!" Swank Instagrammed at the French Open.
The newly single star also shared an inspirational message on Monday morning. "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself," the Instagram message read. She also added another quote in the caption, writing: "Every single day we have a choice. How do you want to live it today? #MakeAChoice #MakeItHappen #MondaysMantra."
In March, Swank announced her engagement on Twitter and Instagram but later took down the posts. "Sooooooo this happened!!! #heputaringonit LOL #loveisintheair" she wrote at the time, following it up with a sweet PDA pic that included the caption: "And then this happened....#sealedwithakiss"

Swank and Torres started dating last summer and made their relationship red-carpet official in December. This was Swank's second engagement. She was married to her Quiet Days co-star, Chad Lowe, for 10 years before splitting up in 2007.
