June 6 will always hold a special place in Iman's heart.
On what would have been her 24th wedding anniversary with late husband David Bowie, the former supermodel shared a beautiful black-and-white photo of the couple happily posing on a beach. Written in black text along the bottom of the photograph is the phrase, "The best thing about me is you."
"June 6th... 24th wedding anniversary," Iman captioned the photo, adding the hashtag #foreverlove.
Bowie died on Jan. 10 after a private 18-month battle with cancer. He was 69.
The couple met in 1990 at a dinner party shortly after Iman had retired. They wed in Florence, Italy, two years later.

"I think the secret to a lasting marriage is timing," Iman said in an interview for Oprah: Where Are They Now? prior to her husband's death. "It has to be the right time in your life when you're ready for an everlasting relationship and that becomes a priority in your life."
Iman also explained how the duo -- who together welcomed a daughter, Lexi, in August 2000 -- managed to keep their private relationship separate from their careers.
"We both understand the difference between the person and the persona," she said. "When we are home we are just Iman and David. We're not anybody else."
