Alexa PenaVega is going to be a mom!
The 27-year-old Nashville actress and her husband, Carlos PenaVega, are expecting their first child together. The couple announced the exciting news on their social media accounts on Thursday with two adorable snaps.

Alexa took to Twitter to share a sweet pic of Carlos kissing her on the cheek while holding a positive pregnancy test. "PREGNANT!" she captioned it. "It's #ClearblueConfirmed a lil blessing is joining the PenaVega fam! #ItsHappening #ClearbluePartner."
Her husband's message, which was posted to Instagram, was equally as sentimental.

"Breaking news! It's #ClearblueConfirmed!" the former Big Time Rush singer wrote. "There is going to be a new cool kid in town… And by cool I mean dorky just like their father. A little PenaVega is on the way!!!"
Back in January, ET caught up with Carlos at the Fox TCA winter press tour where he told us he and Alexa, who tied the knot in 2014, were trying to have a baby.
"I would love to get a mini PenaVega out, but it's a lot harder than I thought," the 26-year-old Grease: Live! actor gushed. "It's not easy. I'll just say, when it happens it happens."
Carlos also shared his hope for his and Alexa's future child -- that the little bundle of joy follows in their footsteps!

"Believe me, I'm going to teach it to sing, dance, do things," he said at the time. "Hopefully it doesn't fart, because I have that talent. I'm just going to put it out there, because that's what Alexa says I can't teach the baby. Not that there is a baby or anything."
