J.K. Rowling Sends Flowers to Family of Victim of Orlando Shooting Who Worked at 'Harry Potter' Attraction

The author sent a touching note to Luis Vielma's friends and family on Friday.

J.K. Rowling is still remembering the loss of Luis Vielma, a 22-year-old Harry Potter World employee who died in last week's mass shooting in Orlando.

On Friday, a gathering of those close to Vielma was surprised with a wreath of red roses and carnations and a touching note sent by the Harry Potter scribe.

"So… this happened," Vielma's friend Tim McKenny posted to his Facebook on Friday, along with photos of Rowling's message. "To Louis, who died for love. You will never be forgotten," Rowling's note read.

The British writer's kind note follows the heartfelt message she shared via Twitter on Monday.

"Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal. He was 22 years old," she tweeted. "I can't stop crying."

The author was clearly affected by the tragedy, making note of another Universal employee and Orlando victim, Tony, who is being treated for injuries in the ICU at a Florida hospital.
