The Queen of Talk thanked the daytime talk show host for the kind gift.
Oprah Winfrey joined Kelly Ripa on Live! just over a month after speaking with ET about Michael Strahan's surprising departure from the daytime talk show.
On Tuesday's Live!, which was pre-recorded with guest co-host Josh Groban, Winfrey thanked the 45-year-old TV personality for gifting her with flowers, and gushed that she had never seen so many roses.

"They were just for being you," Ripa said.
The women then high-fived each other and held hands for a moment.

While Ripa didn't come out and say why she sent the flowers, this is the first we're hearing of the gesture following Winfrey speaking to ET in April about the longtime host not being told in advance of Strahan's exit from Live! "Nobody should ever be blindsided," she said. "I don't know who's in charge, but somebody should've said, 'This is gonna happen.' You shouldn't have to read it in the paper. Ever."
Winfrey also noted that Ripa is fully capable of hosting the show on her own. "I had a co-host for a long time and I wanted to do it by myself," she shared.
