Bindi Irwin celebrated her 18th birthday with boyfriend, Chandler Powell, this weekend, and while the couple have never been happier, the Dancing With the Stars alum tells ET's Lauren Zima that she's in no rush to get hitched.

"I don't think I'm at a point in my life where marriage and getting engaged is really a huge priority right now for me. Maybe in five years, but right now I'm really happy with where I'm at," Irwin admitted. "I'm really happy with our relationship and I think we'll just continue to have fun. It's just nice to have someone there no matter what."

Powell, a 19-year-old wakeboarder, was competing in England before jetting off to Australia to celebrate his girlfriend's big day. Irwin gushed that her guy has become "very good" at gifts, and has learned that she's not great with surprises.

"He's better off giving me hints leading up to my birthday, rather than [me going] crazy wanting to know what he's gotten me," she quipped. "He decided that he'd get me a sequence of gifts in England. He actually told me one of them. He said, 'You love English Breakfast tea so much.' That's my favorite kind of tea, [so] he wanted to give English Breakfast tea from England. ...So, he's gotten me tea and a few other random things that I'm not sure of yet -- but he's very sweet."

Irwin shared that it's not easy being apart from Powell, but they're making it work. "It's nice when you find somebody who's just endlessly kind and understands you and is really like-minded. I always get really excited," she exclaimed. "I'm really blessed and grateful to have him in my life."

Steve Irwin's daughter also told ET that her family are crazy about her boyfriend. "He just understands us, he loves wildlife, loves wild places and is just ready to try," she said. "I'm so glad that my family loves him too. They may even love him more than I do. ...I think, I have my family and then Chandler has become a part of the family, so I'm happy with where I'm at."

Irwin added, "No engagement or marriage just yet!"
