Reality star Toya Wright is mourning the loss of her two brothers, Rudy and Josh Johnson, who were reportedly shot and killed in New Orleans on Sunday.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, who are currently investigating the double homicide, the incident occurred at the intersection of Pauger and North Miro streets around 12:08 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 call and upon arrival, they discovered two male victims unresponsive inside of a vehicle. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.
The names of potential suspects have yet to be released.
Following the tragic report, Wright, who is the ex-wife of rapper Lil Wayne and star of WE tv's Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, took to Instagram to seemingly confirm the news and ask her followers to pray for her family.
"Help me Lord," she wrote. "#stoptheviolence #ineverfeltpainlikethisbefore #riptomybrothers #icantbelievethis #prayformyfamily."
The last post on Josh's Instagram are lyrics from rapper DMX's song "Angel" that read, "My Lord, my savior, don't judge my behavior but instead take what's in my heart and put it in my head. See I guess I really never knew, how proud I made you. My life is yours, my soul I gave you."
Rudy's last photo posted to the app shows him sitting on the hood of a car, praying.
