Anne Hathaway
is very proud of her post-baby body. The new mom took to Instagram on Monday to post an inspirational message to others out there struggling with post-baby weight loss.

The Intern star, 33, posted a pic of her cut-up jeans, writing, “There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all).”

She explained her new pants, writing, “There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.) Peace xx #noshame #lovewhatyouhavebeengiven.”

This isn’t the first time the Oscar winner has gotten candid about her post-baby body journey. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May, Hathaway opened up about an upsetting exchange she had at the gym with a fitness trainer.

"I'm expecting him to say the thing that you say when someone says that they've had a baby. Which is, 'Oh my God! You look great!' Doesn’t matter if it's true," she said. "So, I say to this guy I had a baby seven weeks ago and he goes, 'Oh, trying to lose the baby weight!'"

"I just mustered up my dignity and say, 'No, it's a little bit too soon to worry about weight. I'm just trying to regain my strength,'" Hathaway concluded. "He said, 'Great' and walked away and I cried a little bit."
