The Real Housewives of New York
season finale airs tonight, and viewers will finally see the big moment we’ve been waiting for with baited breath: Bethenny Frankel showing Luann de Lesseps photos of her fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, Jr., kissing another woman just days after they got engaged.

“I think that Bethenny was put in a very hard position,” Ramona Singer tells ET. “She's not the closest person to Luann.” On the show, Frankel has been debating when, if or how to deliver the news to the Countess.

So, how will de Lesseps react? Singer calls the finale “jaw-dropping.” The exchange is a moment, increasingly rare these days, when reality TV is undeniably real. De Lesseps’ raw emotion is evident in teaser clips, though we do know she and D’Agostino are still together today. “I think it was right that [Bethenny] told Luann,” Singer says. “I don't think that we are all so pleased with how [Luann] dealt with the information but, you know what? It’s her life.”

Plus, something big goes down with Dorinda Medley. Singer teases that someone asks Medley to "take a bullet" for them, but we don't know who!

Frankel tells ET she and Luann are “nowhere” in terms of their relationship today. “I really do wish her well,” she says. “I hope she will get married … I think that Luann and Dorinda and Jules [Wainstein] chose to focus more on how I told that information, versus why.” Before Frankel told de Lesseps what she’d learned about D’Agostino, she confessed the information to Singer and Carole Radziwill. “I went to my friends who I trust,” Frankel says. “I wouldn't trust Jules or Dorinda with something that I was personally dealing with.”

So ultimately, why did the Skinnygirl mogul choose to tell de Lesseps what she’d learned? “They had been engaged for a week,” she explains. “Had they had three kids together and been married for 25 years, I bet I wouldn't have said something … [and] there [were] a lot of red flags from the other housewives.” Frankel says she thought de Lesseps might “get out alive” knowing what D'Agostino had done. “I think Luann really just wanted to be in a relationship,” she says. “I think that Luann wants to be in love and is in love with being in love … Now, I wouldn't tell her again.”

The Real Housewives of New York
